A Collateralized Debt Position (CDP) issuer, Ion Protocol is made to take deposits in various forms of Staked Asset-Backed Positions (such as EigenLayer restaking positions) and Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs). Users can mint a synthetic representation of Ethereum (called "$allETH") against their collateral position by depositing these assets. Users can deposit a variety of staked/restaked collateral from which they can mint $allETH, as there are distinct loan underwriting rules for each form of collateral submitted into the protocol.
