Mitosis
The Mitosis L1 Ecosystem and the Mitosis Vaults are components of mitosis, which spans several networks. Ecosystem-Owned-Liquidity (EOL), the term used to manage liquidity from various networks, gives players a say in how liquidity is allocated.
As liquidity increases, the Mitosis Liquidity Protocol supports a wide spectrum of cross-chain DeFi demands, ensuring scalability in capital efficiency. Two essential elements of its architecture are the Mitosis Ecosystem and miAssets.
Users receive matching miAssets at a 1:1 ratio (e.g., deposit eETH, receive meETH) when they deposit assets into the protocol. These miAssets can be deposited into protocols inside the Mitosis Ecosystem, among other DeFi activities. A DeFi protocol enables the associated cross-chain operation as soon as it accumulates sufficient miAssets. By creating a flywheel effect, this method improves the scalability and efficiency of the protocol.
